Dr. Vitto is a highly skilled and board-certified periodontist and dental implant specialist with a Master's in Facial Harmonization and Cosmetic Dentistry. She has extensive experience in multidisciplinary management and developing comprehensive dental and maxillofacial care treatment plans to achieve natural and long-lasting results in her Oral and surgical rehabilitation and Smile makeover cases.
Dr. Vitto received her dental degree from La Universidad de Los Andes School of Dentistry in Venezuela in 2000 and pursued her career in the United States. She earned her board certification and Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she gained excellent exposure to treatment planning modalities involved in pediatrics, restorative, prosthetics, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, and the interrelationships between all these specialties.
After graduation, Dr. Vitto continued her post-graduate academic training at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she earned a certificate in Periodontics, Light Conscious Sedation, and Oral Pathology and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in 2007. Dr. Vitto continues to attend courses to maintain updated technology and knowledge, always pursuing the best for her patients. As a boarded diplomate for the American Academy of Periodontics and successful completion of other board processes, she holds a prestigious recognition of extensive knowledge in comprehensive dental care that only a select handful in the profession ever achieve.
Today, Dr. Vitto is a highly proficient practitioner in all aspects of general, surgical, and cosmetic dentistry, specializing in preventing, diagnosing, and treating periodontal (gum) disease, oral medicine, cosmetic periodontal and dental procedures, and placement of dental implants. For the comfort of her patients, Dr. Vitto holds certification in light-conscious sedation. She treats each patient with individualized and dedicated care, using a multidisciplinary approach to achieve the best possible outcome, reestablishing her patients' complete health, comfort, function, and aesthetics.
In addition to her DDS and periodontal specialties, Dr. Vitto completed a Master's Certification focusing on facial aesthetics, smile makeovers, and therapeutic use of neurotoxins, biomodulators, and anti-aging therapies for Facial Remodeling and enhancement that combined aesthetic procedures that integrate surgical and non-surgical techniques applied to achieve a harmonious, natural, and satisfactory aesthetic objective for the patient, TMJ disorder, and other related muscular facial/dental problems. She is also certified in Clear Orthodontics and non-surgical prevention and treatment to treat mild, moderate, and severe obstructive sleep apnea in adults, along with positive airway pressure and myofunctional therapy.
Dr. Vitto is the Clinical Director of Vitto MD Dental at the state-of-the-art VITTO MD Plastic Surgery, Regenerative Medicine, and Anti-aging Center. Additionally, when not in the office, Dr. Vitto performs consulting services as a specialist in offices throughout South Miami and as an educator for various dental implant and periodontal surgical programs. Her family background inspired Dr. Vitto in the medical field and entrepreneurship in the beauty world, which always made her pursue the best in both worlds, where she could provide excellent service to her community.
